Commented. I had to reign it in though. I went down the rabbit hole of reminiscing about my Mom’s garden. That wasn’t a bad thing but too much for what I was originally replying.

Commented! Memories of my parents and their gardens over the years! Thanks.

Commented. I’m not sure it’s supposed to be this way, but your post page was missing the header and foot.

      • Lily Leung on April 2, 2025 at 4:42 pm

Not sure either, Kandas. I think it has a footer. It will do for now though I’m not happy with it. Might makes changes after April when more time and energy.

PS, you might want to edit the post to correct a couple of typos – a spurious comma at the opening, and dozy instead of doozy.

Nice piece. Is there a reason you don’t want people to comment on it on your site?

I think the core of the message is to always test, and not just assume the answer, especially if the data doesn’t exactly measure what you might test.

It reminds me of the experiment done years ago where (if I recall correctly) the lighting was increased in an office, and productivity went up for a while.

The logical conclusion was that increased lighting improved productivity. Then they decreased lighting, and productivity again went up for a while. It was the increased attention – the change in the environment – not the increased lighting itself that had the desired effect.

Thanks John, an interesting point that success can be a trap. Because of the first success, the assumption may become that that is the only way to get the increased result and prevents the further investigation that there may be other and better ways to get even more success.

There wasn’t a place to comment on your website.

I agree about the creativity piece – it’s a challenge to measure creativity and it’s worth.

Hi Cindy! I tried to leave my comment, but it does not seem to be accepting my comment. Here it is: Hi Cindy! Wow! This is absolutely fascinating. I had not heard of Zentangle Art before, and it sounds like there are so many benefits. I was looking to see if you have an image or example and didn’t see one, so I went on my browser to see what you are referring to. I think I do some forms of this in my “doodling”, and have found that therapeutic over the years! I did not realize that I was doing a form of Zentangle Art! Thank you so much for this fascinating article. Diana

    • Barbara on April 2, 2025 at 6:23 pm

I also tried to comment. Not sure if it went through or not.
I love zentangle. I’ve never done it, but I have a couple of friends who do it and it looks great.

    • Cheryl on April 2, 2025 at 8:16 pm

Here’s what I tried to write.. I tried zentangle as a meditation activity. Since my stroke almost 6 years ago, I find great comfort in using my more creative side. Thank you for sharing the benefits.
