      I couldn’t comment on your Substack. So here it is. Sometimes it’s startling to realize that the friendship circle is getting smaller as we age. And it is work to maintain friendships. My big pleasant surprise is making 4-5 friendships these last couple of years. It is very wonderful.

      Thank you for addressing an important topic. Here’s what I struggle with: what if it always seems to be me who makes the calls, makes the plans, and shows up? It’s getting so tiresome.
