I had fun writing about my career journey, so I thought I would write about a colleague who had a parallel track … up to a point:

Sorry that my site does not include the submit button for comments. I am working on it, but it’s a bug somewhere in the site. If you can write your comments here, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

      Kool article!
I grew up in a rural area with older parents, so lots of whole foods – then was married to a botanist for two decades – gardening and whole foods (local and OG when possible) and gluten/ dairy free, are my foundation

Commented on your website. It seems your button to “Publish” is white letters on a white background. See if you can change the color of it so people can see it!

Day 4 – this one wraps up my four-part series on my word for 2026: RESOLVE.

This is beautiful. One of my favorite quotes by Milton Berle is “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” We are 100% in control of our actions and reactions.

PS – if you need help turning your comments on in wordpress, send me a message.

I love your resolve acrostic. I’m not sure how to dwell in possibility. I’ve heard no too many times. But I am learning that I don’t have to take no for an answer, especially when it concerns limiting my possibilities.

Florence thank you for sharing this very important message. That each of us hears and interprets in different ways. It’s what keeps life interesting, but can be very frustrating if you don’t understand this. That is why each of my four siblings will have very different memories and feelings about the same event that we each experienced at the same time. This understanding definitely contributes to the success of working with people!

    • Patricia Thomson on January 5, 2026 at 2:54 pm

I love trivia! I just started getting into it, and I agree it’s fun and engages your brain! Thanks for reminding me to do more of it this year!
