      Such helpful info –
I was 59 when went off gluten, and was intrigued to see the reset and weight loss! (Like you – other factors remained stable)

I like this statement: “When we are invested in the right relationships, our synergies make our time together empowering.”

This is something that should be on the wall of every small business.

So many have a ‘come one, come all’ mentality, and are afraid to let go of any prospect or client. If instead you are focused on the right relationships, you will be so much happier, and your business will be more successful. One of the best things I did early in my practice was give a new client back her money and walk away, when I realized in our first session that she wasn’t a good fit.

        Well said!
I rescheduled a neighbor with one of the other therapists in our clinic early on.
We’d had a contentious relationship, and I just didn’t feel comfortable working with her – I hadn’t recognized her name, and she promptly told me it wouldn’t be a problem for her … but I stayed strong. And again – one of my best decisions!

Wow! I agree totally with you about taking pictures of birds. I love the research you’ve done to know the places to go. I’d love to join you!

    • Larada Horner-Miller on January 19, 2026 at 7:52 pm

I so agree with you. Sometimes the anticipation for a trip is the best part. I’ve never been to Hawaii or Japan, so I’m with you—let’s go!
