Here’s my first blog post of the year with my word of the year. https://astylephotography.com/my-word-of-the-year-create/
I tried to comment but it says I have to be logged in and that’s not working. Great word of the year, I look forward to seeing what you create through the UBC this month!
I think I just fixed the comments if you would like to try again. Thanks.
Same as Kimberly – I did log in via WordPress.com, but then I was told I did not have an account.
When you CREATE, you have a lot on your plate! AWESOME job moving ahead with all of them!
I think I just fixed the comments if you would like to try again. Thanks.
Congratulations on your new studio – and great Word for 2026! 🎊 👏 💐
I’ll share your post worth my Red Thread CREATive SiStars ✨️
Thank you so much. Please send me the link to view. I love your art work.

Hi Amanda, I ouldn’t comment on your blog either, so here goes:
Happy new year, Amanda!
I like your theme for 2026. You put a lot of thought into defining what CREATE means to you. If I had to pick one, it’d probably be “priorities”, meaning don’t run off in half a dozen different directions and waste all of your energy. Focus on the most important one.

It seems that this time of year, everyone starts to evaluate how they did over the holidays and if they indulged too much. However, starting a new diet frequently ends in frustration. A lot of it has to do with our nervous system. If we start a diet with stressors, mental health issues, and lack of physical and or mental health, our efforts will be in fruition. I have been studying this issue for years and have written a blog regarding what I recommend doing first before implementing any kind of diet plan. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

I tried to comment on your blog. It wouldn’t let me unless was a member. I tried to see how to do that and wasn’t finding a way to do it. Great post!
Thanks Jen. I went in and fixed the setting. Didn’t realize it was set to “members”. Thanks for letting me know!
I wrote a comment, but I do not see a submit button, so I do not know how to save it.
Wow – great topic and great advice. It is usually some little things that make all the difference! Your breathing example comes to mind. I wish I read this about 30 minutes earlier and I would have had a more healthy morning start than just a bagel. I would have gone for more healthy carbs!
Thanks for sharing!
Patricia, I wrote a comment, but there is no submit button.
Very good advice! I’m not dieting. Decided to restart meditation in the morning and takes things nice and easy.
Could not find a post comment button on your site.

I did not see a place to comment on your post on your website. Is there a place to comment? I shared your post on X and LinkedIn. Such an insightful post. I loved how you got so much out of one word, RESOLVE!
Hey Kathi, I didn’t see how to leave you a comment under your blog, so here it is:
The shift from “If I can” to “If I will” identifies something most of us feel but rarely articulate. And I love how you framed resolve as a relationship.
I like your three seasons of resolve: repair, redeem, remain. They honor growth without shame.
What resonated most for me was this: resolve isn’t about keeping promises perfectly; it’s about becoming someone who can be trusted to keep them. That’s leadership. Internally first.
Thanks for this reflection and the reminder that clarity always begins with truth.
Florence, wonderful post! Congratulations on your transformations! Do you want to add a comment block and social media buttons?
Thank you, Kebba.
My VA is working on that right now. Didn’t want to lose momentum waiting for the website to be completed.
I love that RESOLVE acronym!

Hey Florence, good to see you here! I think you may have comments turned off?
Hi Kandas, Great seeing you here too. My VA is working on rectifying this.
Same as Kandas – no way to leave a comment. I LOVE your featured image! Can I ask what prompt yo used to create it?
My VA is working out some challenges with my new platform. I’m curent with my posts but unable to get a link for others to read them yet.
Here is the Breaking Into 2026 Image Prompt I used to create my January 1 image:
Upload a photo of yourself.
“Use the uploaded photo as the identity reference. Keep my face, hair, skin tone, and outfit accurate.
Create a hyper-realistic 3D scene where I am breaking out of a Facebook mobile timeline feet first. Rebuild the Facebook interface from scratch.
Include the Facebook logo at the top, the profile picture, and the username [YOUR NAME]. Add a ‘Leaving 2025’ post frame, reactions row, and the Like, Comment, Share bar. Include the bottom Facebook navigation icons.
Place me inside the post image area, then reposition my body so it looks like I am climbing out of the phone and stepping forward out of the timeline. One foot should extend toward the viewer in full 3D.
Add glass shards or pixel fragments where I break through the screen. Match the lighting to my original photo and keep the final image bold and cinematic.
Outfit: [YOUR CHOICE]”
There’s nowhere to leave a comment, Florence…
Florence, congratulations on your transformation! I love your opening graphic! Do you want to add a comment box and social media buttons?
Yes, no comments available. I love the power in your picture of stepping into 2026—so powerful! You have ambitious goals for this year. Hopefully you can attain of them.
Wow, Florence! Love your photo. You did wonders in 2025.

Hello UBC friends! It’s nice to be back with all of you. Here is my first post for 2026!
https://lifewithoutamanual.org/2026-lets-do-this/
Elisa: I tried to comment on your blog, but it won’t allow it. When I enter everything, it errors saying that I haven’t completed the Captcha, but there is no Captcha to complete.
Here’s the comment I was going to post, if you want to add it yourself:
Elisa: I’m very aligned with your prioritization above.
First: Spending quality time with family and friends.
Second: Focusing on serving my clients with excellence.

This is helpful advice. I definitely spend too much time doom scrolling!
I had trouble commenting as well. Tried two different browsers.

So here’s what I was going to say:
Happy new year, dear Elisa!
I like your theme for 2026. If I had to pick one, it’d probably be “priorities”, meaning don’t run off in half a dozen different directions and waste all of your energy. Focus on the most important one.
Elisa, darn, your system said it had a Kaptcha error and wouldn’t save my comment. So here you go:
Elisa, I ran out of time on the 1st so am back now. I love your theme– it so resonates with me! We must make the most of our time. I had one older sister, and she passed overnight in November 2023, only 72 years old. She had no known conditions. The Denver Coroner said she probably had a massive coronary while sleeping, and she never knew she had a problem. Now, I’m the oldest! I’m the unintended matriarch! Fortunately, I am clear that she and I made the most and best of our relationship over the many years. We made the most of our time. I hope, when I pass, others will think, “She really made the most of her life.” Thanks for a lovely post. And keep that resolve!
I started to work on mine early this afternoon, and got mentally blocked. Finally got back to it just now with a totally different idea than what I had planned on!
